Meet us at ... Park Hyatt Mallorca
The Park Hyatt Mallorca, high above the Canyamel Valley, looks for all the world like a traditional Mallorquin village. However, the tiled rooftops, weathered pink walls and rough, honey-coloured stone walls basking in year-round sunshine are less than two years old and conceal a luxurious five-star resort. The heart of any village is its square. At the Park Hyatt ‘village’, Tribù’s Mood Armchairs and Branch Bistro Tables set a scene of easy outdoor elegance, where guests can mull over which secluded beach to explore that day.
The glittering coast is only a few minutes away, although the resort’s four terraced pools are equally tempting, with slimline Forum Loungers angled to make the most of the view.
For after-sun soothing, the Serenitas Spa is your destination. Kos Easy Chairs and Loungers in warm teak and Branch Low Tables make the spa terrace a restful spot to unwind in.
Choosing where to eat is a delicious problem. The Tapas Bar tempts guests with a menu created by Michelin-starred Basque chef David García. The summer terrace with its formal planting and wonderfully twisted olive trees opens out from the bar with Tribù Pure Sofas and Coffee Tables, Mood Armchairs and bespoke Mood Dining Tables.
Asia restaurant brings an oriental flavour to the resort. After dark, Mood Tables and Vis à Vis Armchairs on the terrace overlook a candle-lit relaxation garden with sunset views across the valley to the Mediterranean.
If village life were this idyllic, wouldn’t we all move to the country?
