Setting the scene

placed under testimonials

Rina, who is married to Tribù founder Lode and is the mother of current managing partners Koen and Tom, has been responsible for the styling at Tribù for more than 20 years.

She has a well-known preference for contemporary designs and discreet luxury, something that has defined the DNA of the brand over the years. You see her eye for fine detail in the Tribu showroom styling and in all the images of Tribù. We interviewed her about how she developed her passion for style, where she gets her inspiration from and what her favourite shoot locations are.

Shindi rugs – setting the scene with natural-look 3D-weaving

placed under products

The hand-loomed new Shindi rugs from Tribù in subtle, natural shades, create a welcoming eye catcher that brings together your outdoor room.

The rugs are handmade using a traditional loom and a special 3D weaving technique. Thick strands are woven for a beautifully defined, raised texture – warm, natural and welcoming like the rugs you use indoors.

Elio, which launched this year, is our new seating collection designed by Canadian studio Yabu Pushelberg. A cocooning seat shell, subtly light-reflective weaving in natural shades and a smooth teak frame make Elio tempting seats to curl up in. Discover Elio’s comfort and timeless elegance in our sunlit video.

Essence of home

Our homes and gardens are there to nurture us, especially during these unsettling times. We asked the Tribù family members to share a glimpse of their own gardens, and what they mean to them.

We visited Lode and his wife Rina as well as their sons Koen and Tom for an intimate photo diary.

Mood, a classic with new features

In uncertain times we all cling to certainties. To products we know, which have proven their worth. Tribù’s MOOD collection has long been a bestseller, thanks to the combination of warm wood and the rhythm of its soft, weather-resistant weaving.
For 2020 we are happy to introduce new colours and a new type of back cushions, now available. Also, take a look at some of our select hospitality projects worldwide that feature the Mood collection.

Nature’s palette is an endless source of creative inspiration at Tribù. With so many tempting shades in our material and fabric collection to choose from, we have collaborated with Belgian artist and designer Louise Mertens on a series of inspirational themed moodboards.

Caribbean Reef, for example, brings together shimmering, watery blues, while glossy leaves and dark wood create a lush look in Tropical Jungle.
